Yael Stein, who is Australian living in New York City since 2013 was the character Lorna Morrello's character in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has received her NIDA degree. Yael's early career has allowed her to work with Australia's top storytellers. Yael enjoys a rich career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was able to find a new location within New York City when the production played to critical acclaim in The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. The Cannery supports innovative ideas in writing and also creative projects in it's Bushwick studio.
