Kelly Reilly (18 July 1977) was an English actor from England. Her performance in the play After Miss Julie, at the Donmar Theatre in London was the catalyst for her becoming an international star. She received the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award nod in the category of Best Actress for 2003. At 26 years old, she's the eldest person ever nominated for that award. In 2005, she received the Best Newcomer Award for The Russian Dolls at Cannes Film Festival. Her most well-known role is her character on Alison Parker, on Melrose Place Georgia Thomas, on Ally McBeal and Cheryl Mabel in According to Jim. Her family was from Menlo Park, a suburban south of San Francisco. His father Walter Smith was a computer market researcher and the mother Lora was therapy. Courtney as well as her parents divorced when Courtney turned seven. Courtney was with them both for a variety of times. She has an older sister Jennifer who is a marketing executive. She attended Menlo-Atherton High School (Atherton Calif.) as well as Tamalpais High School (Mill Valley in California) and graduated in the year 1985. She has also appeared with Ensemble Theater Company Mill Valley in her time as a high school student.
